Began researching UNICEF campaigns and initiatives for Helen (ENG 102) to incorporate into her SLE curriculum. came across the Campus Initiative which seemed appropriate. There are a lot of steps to the process, but if we can successfully get UNICEF sponsorship, it would be a great capacity building tool for the college in the years to come.

Had a meeting with co-sponsors of the Bridging Barriers speaker event that will take place on November 4, 2010. We also discussed Poverty Simulations which led us to wanting to invite them to Schooldaze next month
