My first day in the office post-training has been full of information. Meeting relevant people, and getting familiar with the organizational culture that is Schoolcraft College SAO. I have begun creating databases to log: my hours, my weekly reports for my legacy binder, and contacted organizations' information. I am excited to get started on making this campus a more poverty-conscious community by building programs and hosting meetings that will all lead to a much wider scope of capacity for this campus.
I have spent a lot of time familiarizing myself with the the service learning website as well as other resources that PSO provided me with. I want to soak up as much information as I can so that I feel beyond prepared to educate others on the issues and to spark passions that people may not have ever realized they have.
